Banjo Story is a demo cassette by Beck (age 18) dating back to 1988, and is considered his very first release. As the title states, the album prominently features the banjo. Most of the songs on the album are blues songs, with banjo accompaniment.
Information about this demo is hard to find, other than the fact that it was made in 1988. The cassette has 9 tracks on it, with the other 3 tracks (My Head Is Gonna Break In Two, Atmospheric Recordings, Hell) being added after fans bootlegged the cassette onto CD-R.
