"One of These Days" is a fairly simple song with a sleepy melody and atmosphere. The lyrics here aren't too deep and are actually pretty basic, but that can explain why it's a B-Side.
For some strange reason, the song reuses 2 phrases from previous Beck songs. Those being "Cardboard Faces" from Mmmmmmmmmm, and "Up on the bridge, nowhere to go / Empty and cold, burning a light bulb" which previously appeared on People Gettin' Busy from Golden Feelings.
